Zoroastrianism also known as Zarathustraism an ancient Iranian religion and a religious philosophy. In the eastern part of ancient Persia more than a thousand years BCE, a religious philosopher called Zoroaster simplified the pantheon of early Iranian gods into two opposing forces: Ahura Mazda (Illuminating Wisdom) and Angra Mainyu (Destructive Spirit) also known as good and evil were in conflict.

Personally for me this trip wasn’t that enjoyable it was a bit tiring and a bit boring because the tour guide was talking for too long which made me zone out. To improve the trip I think you should make the tour more fun and engaging but I would have never have gone without the school.
This post is about a religious experience, many people do not know what a religious experience is an experience with religious significance e.g. the act of worship in a religious setting. There are many religious experiences I could talk about, but I want to talk about this one in particular is the holy spirit falling upon people. Many people think that this if fake but I believe its real, i feel like the holy spirit can come down and touch people, and talk through people. I also believe that there can be demons inside people and that someone can pray for you and the holy spirit can come in you and you can speak the language of tongues. Religious experience like that are way more realistic than “A statue of Virgin Mary crying supposedly crying “blood””. That type of religious experience seems so bogus, I mean come on what type of statue cries blood!?!?!?!?! blood?!?!can you imagine!?! personally I think that is a bunch of baloney but feel free to express/share your opinion?!
There is a huge discussion about whether religion is greater than science or if science if greater than religion. But I believe that science has stronger evidence against religion but due to my upbringing I agree with the religious side of everything and anything. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Gfa88SeNohY#
I believe in Religion and Science, but I mainly believe in Religion. There are something that Religion can not answer but Science can! So if they cant answer it why believe in the side that has no answer or evidence? I’m mainly an theistic believer- I see God as the source of our lives and the way to make sense of life. Divine creative goodness is what makes life so wonderful! but also I see the universe as a circle, what goes around comes around. Life is a great experience wouldn’t you say so?
Thomas Aquinas believed that miracles were ‘those things done by divine power apart from the order usually followed in things’, this meant that God can do what he wants to do with his creation. He basically said a miracle is something that breaks the law of nature.
For him there were three types of miracles:
1. An event done by God which nature could not do
2. An event done by God which nature could do e.g. being saved from an terminal illness or becoming un-paralysed.
3.An event done which nature could do but without using the principles or forces of nature. e.g. recovering from a cold quicker than usual could be seen as another miracle.
